FAP NGO works at the intersection of environmental conservation, sustainable livelihoods, community empowerment and peaceful natural-resource management. Our programmes respond to the needs of communities while promoting the responsible use, restoration and protection of natural ecosystems.
Through community participation, capacity building and collaboration with development partners, FAP supports practical solutions that improve environmental health, strengthen local economies and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable populations.

01. Forest & Watershed Management
FAP promotes the sustainable management of forests and watersheds, biodiversity conservation and the restoration of degraded ecosystems. We work with communities to encourage responsible natural-resource use and protect the environmental systems that support livelihoods and community wellbeing.

02. Women, Youth & Vulnerable Groups Empowerment
FAP promotes the economic empowerment of women, youth, Indigenous peoples and other vulnerable groups through skills development, entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities. We support individuals and community groups to build knowledge, develop enterprises and improve their economic independence.

03. Renewable Energy Promotion
FAP promotes renewable energy technologies as practical solutions for sustainable development, livelihood improvement and enterprise creation. We build community capacity and encourage the use of clean energy solutions that respond to local needs.

FAP has trained more than 200 young people in renewable energy technologies and supported renewable-energy solutions for women and farming groups.
04. Farmer–Grazer Conflict Resolution & Dialogue
FAP facilitates dialogue between farmers, grazers and other stakeholders to promote peaceful resource management and strengthen relationships within communities. We support platforms where stakeholders can discuss challenges, identify common interests and develop practical solutions to resource-related conflicts.

FAP has supported farmer–grazer dialogue platforms in areas including Ndop, Kumbo, Ndu, Sabongari and Bafut.
05. Research & Knowledge Development
FAP conducts and supports research and knowledge development to improve understanding of environmental, agricultural and community-development challenges. We use knowledge and evidence to inform programmes, strengthen decision-making and share practical solutions with communities and partners.

06. Sustainable Agriculture & Agroforestry
FAP supports sustainable agriculture and agroforestry practices that improve food security, strengthen rural livelihoods and reduce pressure on natural ecosystems. Our approach encourages farmers to combine agricultural production with the protection and restoration of the environment.
