Why Volunteer With Us??
FAP NGO cannot accomplish its mission without the energy, creativity, and dedication of volunteers. We welcome individuals, families, groups, schools, churches, companies and community teams to partner with us in our agroforestry projects, community education programmes, and environmental outreach initiatives.
Types & Duration of Volunteer Engagement
Short-term stays: from under 1 month up to 3 months.
Long-term engagement: from 6 months up to 24 months.
Whether you’re a student, professional, retiree or community leader — you will find meaningful opportunities.
Who We Are Looking For?
We invite applications from volunteers whose skills or interests include, but are not limited to:
Agroforestry and environmental restoration
Community education and awareness-raising
Fundraising, grant-writing and networking
Digital media, communications and outreach
Research internships for students in environmental or social sciences
Construction and site-based support (e.g., tree-nurseries, planting sites)
Sample Programmes/Add-on Tasks
Here are examples of where you could make a difference:
Setting up and maintaining tree nurseries for local communities
Running workshops on sustainable farming and forestry for women and youth
Supporting our outreach campaigns for reforestation and climate resilience
Assisting with donor proposals, event planning, digital content creation
Supervising interns or students doing field research in agro-ecology
Eligibility & Requirements
Minimum age: 18 years
Relevant experience, education or interest in one of the programme areas (as above)
Commitment to FAP NGO’s values of sustainability, inclusion and community empowerment
No unresolved criminal record
Willingness to abide by our code of conduct and safety guidelines
